Lady in the Lake Trailer Apple TV+ has unveiled the trailer for «Lady in the Lake,» a new limited series starring Natalie Portman and Moses Ingram. This mystery-thriller is based on Laura Lippman's novel. It centers on Maddie Schwarz, played by Portman, a housewife who wants to leave her past behind and become an investigative journalist in Baltimore.
Plot and Characters
The series revolves around Maddie Schwarz and Cleo Johnson, played by Moses Ingram. Maddie becomes obsessed with the death of Cleo, who is an activist for Baltimore’s Black community. As Maddie digs deeper into the case, their lives intertwine in unexpected ways.
Series Release Schedule, Where to Watch
The seven-part series is set to debut on Apple TV+ with two episodes on July 19. New episodes will be released every Friday until August 23.
Production «Lady in the Lake» is produced by Crazy Rose and Bad Wolf America from Fifth Season. Alma Har’el, the creator of the series, also serves as an executive producer, writer, and director. Har’el is known for «Honey Boy,» which earned her the 2020 DGA Award for best first feature. Natalie Portman also serves as an executive producer along with her producing partner Sophie Mas.
