«Now is a time filled with struggles and challenges, but it is crucial that we remain focused on our goals,» Singh remarked, highlighting the importance of addressing the underlying issues through informed discussions.
The Chief Minister also stressed the role of educational institutions, such as universities, in clearing up confusion surrounding the conflict. He suggested that seminars or legal camps could be organized to raise awareness and educate people on the matter.
Singh highlighted the publication of the book Know Manipur, emphasizing the need to educate the people about the state’s roots and history. «Our society will progress when people feel a sense of belonging and ownership towards the land,» he said, stressing the importance of fostering a collective identity. «We have the talent, but we need to act with a sense of responsibility towards our land,» he added.
He also called for a disturbance-free environment in educational institutions, which would allow students and faculty to focus on their academic and professional responsibilities.
