'Narendra Arohanam': Sanskrit scholar from Odisha authors 'Mahakavya' on PM Modi's life
Somanath Dash, an associate professor at the National Sanskrit University in Tirupati. It was unveiled at a youth festival held in Veraval, Gujarat, last week.
According to a PTI report, the book features 1,200 verses (slokas) spread across 12 chapters, with English and Hindi descriptions included. It traces Modi's life, from his humble beginnings in Gujarat to his journey as Chief Minister of Gujarat and later as India's Prime Minister through his second term.
«Inspired by his rise from a modest family background, Modi’s struggles and ascetic political journey have made him an inspiration for youth worldwide. I felt compelled to write about such a personality in Sanskrit,» said the 48-year-old associate professor.
Dash mentioned that it took him over four years to complete this work. During this time, he consulted a variety of sources, including books, journals, Modi's speeches, and his radio talk series Mann Ki Baat. Although Dash has never met Modi personally, he worked extensively on gathering information to create a comprehensive account of the Prime Minister's life and achievements.
