This will be Boone’s eighth season with the team. The Yankees had said that they were going to extend Aaron Boone’s contract after the 2025 season nine days after the team lost the World Series final to the Los Angeles Dodgers, as per Bleacher Report,.
The team had earlier indicated that Boone would continue at his position. The former Yankee player’s ability to guide his team to the Fall Classic after a 15-year gap has made the management sure about his role.

He has guided the Yankees to their first World Series final since 2009. Boone is the third Yankees Manager to help his side to the postseason in six out of his seven years. Joe Torre and Casey Stengel are the only other Yankees bosses to accomplish this feat.
