“I am deeply honoured to be re-elected as a member of the International Olympic Committee. I would like to thank President Bach and all my colleagues in the IOC for their faith and trust in me," said Ambani on her re-election ahead of the Paris Olympics 2024, to be held from July 26 to August 11.

She was first elected as an individual member of the IOC in 2016 during the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games. As the first Indian woman to join the IOC, Ambani has made significant contributions to the global body, promoting India's sporting ambitions and Olympic vision.
