I am not saying that you should not interact with people online. It is a virtual world and we all need to interact with people but do not trust anyone immediately. I always say trust but verify. If you are not verifying and just blindly trusting, someone is going to make a victim of you.”

See, it is a very simple case where you are getting comfortable with someone who you are not known to. For these fraudsters, it is a very simple three-step game. They try to become friendly with you, they will try to reach out with some fake name and some company name and will try to message you on your Telegram or WhatsApp and with some very known name which you can connect with.
It could be the name of someone very close to you and they will make you feel comfortable and they try to find out ways by talking to you about what is the need of the hour for you. It may be a job or it may be investment opportunity that they may want to throw across to you and to build a friendly rapport, they will try to throw in some very lucrative offers to you asking you to do some simple task of rating
