The Oscars telecast will begin at 4 p.m. PT and will air live on ABC. For the first time, the ceremony will also stream live on Hulu, making it more accessible to viewers. Those with cable subscriptions can log in to abc.com or the ABC app to stream the event.
Red carpet coverage begins well before the main ceremony. The official Oscars Red Carpet Show, hosted by Julianne Hough and Jesse Palmer, starts at 3:30 p.m. PT on ABC and Hulu. For those wanting even more pre-show excitement, networks such as E! and KTLA will air extended red carpet specials from 11 a.m. PT onwards.
This will be Conan O’Brien’s first time hosting the Oscars, though he previously hosted the Emmy Awards in 2002 and 2006. To prepare, he has taken advice from past hosts, including Billy Crystal and Jimmy Kimmel. O’Brien has acknowledged the pressure but is eager for the challenge, stating: “It’s an iconic show, and I love taking on something new.”
