“Pushpa flower nahi… fire hai.” Truer words have never been spoken! ‘Pushpa 2’ has set the box-office on fire from the moment it hit the theatres. The much-anticipated Allu Arjun film has set several new benchmarks of box-office success. Here are some ways the Sukumar directorial has etched box-office history.

The high-octane sequel stormed into theaters, amassing a staggering Rs 65–67 crore nett in Hindi on its opening day, smashing records. It surpassed Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan (Rs 65.5 crore) to become the biggest Hindi opener of all time.
Additionally, Pushpa 2 shattered the record for the highest-grossing South-dubbed Hindi debut, previously held by KGF Chapter 2 (Rs 52 crore). With a phenomenal Rs 175 crore nett across all languages on Day 1, the film's pan-India dominance is undeniable.
Pushpa 2 has emerged as the largest non-holiday opener in Hindi, surpassing Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan, which had garnered Rs 55.75 crore on its first day earlier this year. While these are preliminary estimates, the final tally may climb even higher, as reported by Pinkvilla.
