Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa said that by 5 pm, the Zomato-owned platform crossed the total number of orders it clocked on December 31, 2023.
Dhindsa, who was out packing and delivering a few items himself, announced the launch of its large-order fleet in Delhi and Gurgaon, which are bigger delivery vehicles to deliver bulk orders, large electronics and other party goods.
Swiggy cofounder Phani Kishan Addepalli, posted a picture of a fully-stocked warehouse of its quick commerce unit Instamart in Bengaluru. New Year’s Eve is typically the busiest day in a year for food delivery and quick commerce platforms.
