Kamala Harris has lost the U.S. presidential election against former president Donald Trump, now the president-elect.The Republican nominee will return to the White House this January for a second non-consecutive term after having cleared the 270 electoral votes needed to become president in the early morning hours of Wednesday.Here is the transcript of Harris’ remarks in which she conceded defeat to Trump several hours after the Republican was declared the winner.:“Good afternoon.
