Russian drones have been sighted near the NATO bases in Germany while raising significant concerns about the potential espionage, reported Business Insider.
It should be also noted that already six drone incidents has occurred between the date of January 9 and January 29 at the Schwesing Air Base where the Ukrainian troops were training on Patriot air defense systems. Adding onto that, in spite of the attempts to jam the signals of the drones, the German forces eventually failed to neutralize them while indicating a possible technological advantage for Russia in the drone warfare, asserted Business Insider.

The drones reportedly entered the restricted airspace that too multiple times while prompting an investigation into their origins and intentions.
Numerous analysts now believe that this incident reflects a broader trend of Russian reconnaissance operations across the Europe while including previous sightings near the US military bases.
The apparent success of these drones eventually highlights the ongoing arms race in drone technology between Russia and Ukraine while several experts put an emphasis on the need for NATO to enhance its defensive capabilities against such sophisticated threats as both sides continue to innovate in electronic warfare and drone tactics, noted Business Insider.
