Ranveer Allahabadia for making «vulgar» remarks on comedian Samay Raina’s online show, India’s Got Latent. Mukesh, known for playing Shaktimaan, posted a detailed video on his YouTube channel, expressing his outrage and calling for strict action against such behaviour.
Mukesh emphasised that such remarks should not be taken lightly and urged authorities to punish those who make irresponsible statements. He questioned the current state of values in the country, saying, “People need to ask, ‘What is happening to my country?’"
He further criticised Ranveer's comments and suggested harsh consequences. “I have seen this YouTuber’s interviews before. He has done good work, but now he is talking about parents and sex. Someone asked me what should be done. I said, ‘Hold him, paint his face black, make him sit on a donkey and parade him around the country.’”
Mukesh believes that today's youth have been given too much freedom, with no clear limits on what is acceptable. He expressed concern that instead of objecting to inappropriate remarks, people on the show simply laughed. Frustrated by the situation, he jokingly referred to his superhero role, saying, “If I were Shaktimaan, I would throw him into space."
He also called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to reconsider how values are evolving among the younger generation before declaring India a young nation. Additionally, he proposed creating an “Ashleel Control Board” to regulate inappropriate content online.
