The NSE Nifty index traded 163.25 points up at 23412.75, while BSE Sensex was up 449.21 points at 77209.02 as of 10:34AM(IST)on January 31.
In the Nifty index, Trent Ltd.(up 4.37 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 4.35 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 4.32 per cent), Bharat Electronics Ltd.(up 4.09 per cent) and Titan Company Ltd.(up 3.46 per cent) were among the top gainers.
