In the Nifty index, Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 2.25 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 1.37 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 0.90 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 0.82 per cent) and Wipro Ltd.(up 0.79 per cent) were among the top gainers.
