Stock market update: Nifty Pharma index falls 0.13% in an upbeat market
Gland Pharma Ltd.(up 4.83 per cent), Abbott India Ltd.(up 2.25 per cent), Natco Pharma Ltd.(up 1.92 per cent), Laurus Labs Ltd.(up 1.7 per cent) and Biocon Ltd.(up 1.53 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 2.01 per cent), Ajanta Pharma Ltd.(down 1.41 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 1.1 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(down 0.33 per cent) and Lupin Ltd.(down 0.18 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Pharma index was down 0.13 per cent at 20362.85 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 30.16 points at 22583.5, while the BSE Sensex was up 237.42 points at 74691.83.
