Stock market update: Nifty Pharma index falls 0.17% in a weak market
Gland Pharma Ltd.(up 1.61 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(up 1.1 per cent), Lupin Ltd.(up 0.49 per cent), Zydus Lifesciences Ltd.(up 0.26 per cent) and Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(up 0.1 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Ajanta Pharma Ltd.(down 4.39 per cent), Natco Pharma Ltd.(down 2.32 per cent), Mankind Pharma Ltd.(down 1.18 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma Ltd.(down 1.09 per cent) and Granules India Ltd.(down 0.82 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Pharma index was down 0.17 per cent at 20783.9 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 56.25 points at 22876.65, while the BSE Sensex was down 262.0 points at 75677.18.
