Share price of ACC jumps as Sensex gains 150.72 points

ACC Ltd. gained 0.9 per cent to Rs 2518.45 at 10:55AM (IST) in Friday's trade. The scrip hit a high of Rs 2542.05 and low of Rs 2513.65 so far during the session. The stock had closed at Rs 2495.8 in the previous session.
The counter had a total traded volume of 10:55AM shares so far with a turnover of Rs 0.4 crore on BSE. The stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 20.34 and a price-to-book ratio of 2.87.

A higher price-to-earnings ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price for per rupee earnings given by the stock because of better future growth expectations.
The price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.

Key Financials The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 5528.45 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2024, up 10.56 per cent from the previous quarter's Rs 5000.51 crore and up 12.59 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 4910.06 crore.
Its profit for the latest quarter stood at Rs 944.79 crore, up 300.96 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
