Squid Game: The Challenge" is all set to release on Netflix OTT platform on Wednesday i.e November 22, a day before Thanksgiving. The show is based on the Korean mega hit series that dominated the charts in 2021.
Netflix will release the show worldwide simultaneously like any other Netflix Original shows.
The show has been filmed in the United Kingdom and will have 456 contestants.
These players will be pitted against each other for a prize money that is a whopping $4.56 million, which is the largest in the history of the game.
There has been some confusion that has been making the rounds regarding the show as to how the episodes will be released on the OTT.
Some have even speculated that the series will be released weekly for over 10 weeks; whereas TUDUM has been reporting that all the episodes will be released simultaneously on November 22.
But Netflix has made it clear on how Squid Game: The Challenge will be released on its platform.
On Wednesday Netflix will release five episodes. The first episode will have the doll red light green light and contestants will be going after the creepy doll who will be saying the classic catchphrase “mugunghwa kkochi piotsseumnida”.
