Star Trek: Strange New Worlds should know that something big happened on the much-loved show. The Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 6’s sixth episode, titled 'Lost in Translation’ had these landmark moments between Kirk and Spock, among other things. The cast members of the show have spoken about these special moments. In the episode, Nyota Uhura (Celia Rose Gooding) had strange visions of Hemmer (Bruce Horak), former chief engineer of the Enterprise who died in the Season 1 finale episode. Uhura was helped by James T Kirk (Paul Wesley), the First Officer of the Federation ship Farragut. In the same episode, Kirk is introduced to Uhura’s shipmate Lieutenant Spock (Ethan Peck).

James Kirk and Spock were originally played by William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy. The Original Series did not show their introduction and development of friendship as such, as Kirk and Spock were already working well together. In Strange New Worlds’ Season 6, which takes place more than five years before the original show, the team decided to show how Kirk and Spock met.
