Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

Aries Agro Ltd.(up 8.38%), Bohra Industries Ltd.(up 4.90%), National Fertilizers Ltd.(up 4.22%), The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd.(up 3.91%), Madras Fertilizers Ltd.(up 3.20%), Paradeep Phosphates Ltd.(up 3.18%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd.(up 3.15%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd.(up 3.09%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd.(up 2.95%) and Sikko Industries Ltd.(up 2.77%) were among the top gainers.

Krishana Phoschem Ltd.(down 1.54%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products Ltd.(down 0.97%) and Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals Ltd.(down 0.91%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 223.86 points at 24404.65, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 827.67 points at 80229.96 at around 11:26AM.
Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 7.09%), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 3.82%), ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 3.42%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 3.35%), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 2.67%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 2.47%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 2.43%), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 2.33%), Wipro Ltd.(up 2.21%) and Nestle India Ltd.(up 2.19%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
