Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market falls

Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd.(up 4.53%), National Fertilizers Ltd.(up 4.37%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals Ltd.(up 4.22%), Madras Fertilizers Ltd.(up 4.02%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd.(up 3.74%), The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd.(up 3.57%), Paradeep Phosphates Ltd.(up 3.52%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd.(up 3.26%), Gujarat State Fertilizer & Chemicals Ltd.(up 2.85%) and Rama Phosphates Ltd.(up 2.84%) were among the top gainers.

Madhya Bharat Agro Products Ltd.(down 1.13%) and Sikko Industries Ltd.(down 0.61%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 73.05 points at 24393.8, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 271.22 points at 80097.81 at around 10:33AM.
Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 3.14%), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 2.16%), Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 2.06%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 2.04%), Wipro Ltd.(up 2.03%), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.3%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 1.25%), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.23%), Nestle India Ltd.(up 0.93%) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 0.8%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
