Stock market update: Nifty Auto index advances 2.01%

Shares of Ashok Leyland Ltd.(up 3.86 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 3.47 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 3.39 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 3.38 per cent) and Bosch Ltd.(up 3.06 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.

On the other hand, Apollo Tyres Ltd.(down 0.26 per cent) and TVS Motor Company Ltd.(down 0.21 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Auto index closed 2.01 per cent up at 25597.35.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 397.41 points at 24541.15, while the BSE Sensex stood up 1330.96 points at 80436.84.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 47 ended in the green, while 3 closed in the red.
Shares of Ola Electric Mobilit, Vodafone Idea, Suzlon Energy, YES Bank and Tata Steel were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Ola Electric Mobilit, Vinny Overseas, AGI Infra Ltd., Uflex and Jindal Pol Film hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Arman Financial, IRM Energy, SecUR Credentials, Unicommerce eSolutio and Valiant Laboratories hit their fresh 52-week lows.
