Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.56%
Shares of Oberoi Realty(up 2.08 per cent), DLF(up 2.02 per cent), SOBHA(up 0.5 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 0.34 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.3 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack. On the other hand, Brigade Enterprises(down 1.25 per cent), Phoenix Mills(down 1.14 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers(down 0.65 per cent) and Godrej Properties(down 0.08 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.56 per cent up at 525.9. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 9.5 points at 19398.5, while the BSE Sensex stood down 33.01 points at 65446.04.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 30 ended in the green, while 20 closed in the red. Shares of Suzlon Energy, YES Bank, PNB, Reliance Power and BHEL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
