Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.21% in a weak market

Macrotech Developers(up 2.48 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 1.67 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(up 0.37 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers(up 0.37 per cent) were among the top gainers. Oberoi Realty(down 1.82 per cent), DLF(down 1.38 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(down 0.96 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(down 0.95 per cent) and Godrej Properties(down 0.72 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was down 0.21 per cent at 535.15 at the time of writing this report. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 134.75 points at 19844.4, while the BSE Sensex was down 532.38 points at 67039.52.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 21 were trading in the green, while 29 were in the red. Shares of YES Bank, Reliance Power, Suzlon Energy, Vodafone Idea and Indian Railway Fin were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Utkarsh Small Financ, Prudent Corporate Ad, Dynamic Cables, DB Corp. and Universal Cable hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Bombay Metrics Suppl, Bohra Industries, Jet Airways, Spectrum Talent Mana and Suumaya Lifestyle hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
