Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.85%
Shares of SOBHA(up 0.57 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 0.15 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers(up 0.05 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack. On the other hand, Indiabulls Real Estate(down 2.56 per cent), Oberoi Realty(down 1.48 per cent), Phoenix Mills(down 1.21 per cent), Godrej Properties(down 1.08 per cent) and Macrotech Developers(down 0.8 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.85 per cent down at 535.05. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 37.8 points at 19749.25, while the BSE Sensex stood up 205.21 points at 66795.14.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 19 ended in the green, while 30 closed in the red. Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Reliance Power, PNB and Suzlon Energy were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
