Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.65% in an upbeat market
Indiabulls Real Estate(up 1.8 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 1.71 per cent), DLF(up 1.22 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 1.02 per cent) and Oberoi Realty(up 0.61 per cent) were among the top gainers. SOBHA(down 2.03 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers(down 1.37 per cent), Macrotech Developers(down 0.7 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(down 0.52 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 0.65 per cent at 544.85 at the time of writing this report. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 39.3 points at 19817.6, while the BSE Sensex was up 83.52 points at 66790.72.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 were trading in the green, while 17 were in the red. Shares of Vodafone Idea, Suzlon Energy, Reliance Power, PNB and Rail Vikas Nigam were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
