Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade
Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 190.0 points up at 19047.25 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
However, stocks such as BCL Industries, Talbros Auto, Sterlite Tech, Godha Cabcon & Insul and Nakoda Group Of Ind, touched their fresh 52-week lows.
Overall, 42 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 7 closed in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, Axis Bank, HCL Tech, Coal India Ltd, Adani Ent.
and SBI were among top gainers during the day, while Dr. Reddys, UPL, SBI Life, Asian Paints and ITC ended in the red.
The BSE Sensex closed 634.65 points up at 63782.8.
Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Learning & Education, Textiles, Defence and Miscellaneous sectors, while selling was witnessed in Agro Processing, Trading, Construction, Tobacco and ReIT sectors during the day.
