Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade
Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 0.0 points down at 22302.5 amid in frontline bluechip counters.
However, stocks such as PayTM, Gloster, Filatex Fash, GSS Infotech and Berger Paints, touched their fresh 52-week lows.
Overall, 26 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 24 closed in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, Hero MotoCorp, BPCL, Tata Motors, Power Grid and Hindalco were among top gainers during the day, while Dr. Reddys, Asian Paints, Grasim Inds., UltraTech Cem. and HUL ended in the red.
The BSE Sensex closed 45.46 points down at 73466.39.
Traders piled up positions in Irrigation & Allied Services, Metals — Non Ferrous, Term Lending Institutions, Airlines and Aquaculture sectors, while selling was witnessed in Cables, Trading, Cement, Building Materials and IT Software sectors during the day.
