Essen Speciality Fil, Greenchef Appliances, AGC Networks and Ceat, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE. Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 98.8 points up at 19497.3 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
However, stocks such as Rachana Infrastructu, Cell Point(India), Kshitij Polyline, Dangee Dums and Sheetal Cool, touched their fresh 52-week lows. Overall, 35 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 15 closed in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, Apollo Hospital, Power Grid, Tata Motors and RIL were among top gainers during the day, while Eicher Motors, HDFC Life, Maruti Suzuki, HCL Tech and Bajaj Finance ended in the red. The BSE Sensex closed 339.6 points up at 65785.64.
