Sunil Pal found: Comedian was going through a problem which led to his disappearance
Comedian and actor Sunil Pal was reported missing for several hours after traveling out of Mumbai for a performance. Concerned by her inability to contact him, his wife, Sarita, filed a missing person complaint at the Santacruz police station on Tuesday. However, Film Trade analyst Girish Wankhede later informed ETimes, «He told me there was a problem, but he is out of it. He is now taking a flight from Delhi for Mumbai.»
Senior police official Daya Nayak from Unit 9 Crime Branch also confirmed to ETimes that Sunil Pal had been located and was safe, adding that he is on his way home. Authorities have begun investigating the circumstances surrounding the case.
Earlier reports indicated that Sunil Pal had left Mumbai for a show and was expected to return on December 3. When he failed to come back as planned and his phone remained unreachable, Sarita grew increasingly worried. She told the police that she had tried calling him multiple times, but his phone eventually switched off. After hours of waiting at home without any updates, she decided to seek help from the police and filed an official report.
