Sachin Tendulkar, the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) took to X (formerly Twitter) and shared how throughout his life, he has been very fortunate to come across people who were willing to help him learn without judging him. He went to thank his parents, his coach Ramakant Achrekar, his wife, teammates, and kids.
“I am fortunate to have had many great teachers in life – my parents, my coach Achrekar sir, my wife, my teammates, and now my children. I have always tried to learn from whoever I can and be a better human being every day.
Happy Teachers’ Day,” reads his post.
Not just Tendulkar, Bollywood diva Kajol also penned an emotional post to the women who had been instrumental in her success and had been a lifeline for her.
Taking to Instagram stories, the ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ star shared a montage of various interviews where she mentioned her mother, actress Tanuja, grandmother Shobhana Samarth, and great-grandmother Rattan Bai. In one of the interviews, the ‘Dushman’ actress is seen saying, how her mother raised her to be independent. “«I always knew the fact that my mother was not on my side.
She told me very early that if I fell, she would be there for me in the back but I had to endure the pain and I had to learn the lesson.» In another slide, Kajol complaints, «My mother never picked me up from school. However, she said given a choice she would love to pick me up but she had works to do.»
She also attached a caption, gushing about how she was raised by strong women, who let her learn through mistakes. “I really was raised by a village.
A village filled with strong cool women. I learned by example not by being preached to. And I can never thank all my teachers enough.
