‘The Office’ Spinoff: Everything we know about storyline, cast and more
new spinoff series will begin in July. Domhnall Gleeson (About Time, Ex Machina) and Sabrina Impacciatore will be in the lead roles in the new spinoff of ‘The Office’. There is very little information regarding the storyline even as the script is being finalized in the next few months. This has been reported by ‘Deadline’.
Greg Daniels had in January opened up the Emmy winning series ‘The Office’ for generation of new ideas, new scripts and casting. It has now been learnt that multiple episodes have been written till date and a final decision is in the offing.
Cast
The series premiered for the first time in 2005 and ran for 9 seasons before concluding in 2013. The cast included Carell, John Krasinski, Rainn Wilson, BJ Novak, Jenna Fischer, Mindy Kaling, Leslie David Baker, Melora Hardin, Kate Flannery, Brian Baumgartner, Ed Helms, Oscar Nunez and Craig Robinson.
Storyline The storyline of Office in its previous episodes revolved around a dying Midwestern newspaper which is historic and a publisher who is trying to revive it with a group of volunteers. The series follows the publisher and all the volunteers as they lead their normal lives even as they try to revive this newspaper.
As far as the lead actors are concerned, Sabrina Impacciatore’ role as Valentina in ‘White Lotus’ won her an Emmy nomination. She has also been part of movies such as ‘7 Women and a Murder’. Domhnall Gleeson is best known for his portrayal as Bill Weasley in the Harry Potter
