Netflix has announced that the second season of FUBAR has started filming. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Monica Barbaro return to continue the story of Luke and Emma Brunner. The series, created by Nick Santora, follows the comedic adventures of the Brunners as they navigate their lives as CIA operatives. A new video released by Netflix features Schwarzenegger celebrating the production start with an action figure of his character.
Plot and Characters
In the first season, Luke Brunner (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is introduced as a secret CIA operative. He takes pride in his work but is unaware that his daughter Emma (Monica Barbaro) is also an operative. This leads to chaos as they try to hide their occupations from each other. Eventually, they must work together on a delicate mission. Despite being skilled agents, Luke still treats Emma as his little girl, creating a dynamic that adds to the series' humor.
Returning Cast
The first season's cast includes Milan Carter, Gabriel Luna, and Fortune Feimster. Carter, known for his television roles, takes on his biggest role with FUBAR. Luna is recognized for his roles in The Last of Us and Terminator: Dark Fate. Guest performances by Adam Pally and Tom Arnold also added to the comedic elements of the show.
