In February 2024, it was revealed that although the third season had not been formally ordered, initial story outlines were being developed.
At the premiere of Season 2 in August 2024, co-showrunner Patrick McKay hinted at the progress being made, stating, «All we can say is, we’re working on it. We’re cooking. Let us cook!»
