On Truth Social, Trump stated in a post that he has accepted the debate organized by ABC under the same conditions like the debate of CNN against Biden. The last debate's rule was that the microphone will only turn on when a candidate will speak ,there was no studio audience and the candidates were prohibited to talk with their staff during the break or bring any notes. Both the candidates received pen and paper and a bottle of water. Donald Trump was in doubt regarding his participation, thereafter he said that he didn’t care much about the microphone policy. Trump questioned on a Truth Social post, “Why would I do the debate against Kamala Harris on that network?” He also criticized the interview of Tom Cotton taken by Jonathan Karl on ABC’s This Week, as well as the commentators.
