Joe Biden contesting the upcoming Presidential Election in November. While many in the House of Representatives have openly voiced their concerns against Biden after the first presidential debate, those in the Senate have remained quiet till day. This may change soon. There are multiple reports indicating that various Senators belonging to the Democratic Party have gathered in Washington to discuss the political situation in the country. There are also growing number of Senators who are demanding answers from Biden and sought assurances on the way forward. This has been reported by The Hill.
Senator Tina Smith said that there are many concerns and the way forward is definitely not going to be easy. Many of the Senators including Michael Bennet have said that the electors have sought answers pertaining to Biden’s health and also are keen to know if the president intends to contest the upcoming election. He said that many were fine with one bad debate against Trump but were worried if there is a larger problem.

Many other Senators are keen to have a frank discussion on this topic in the coming days and feel that time is running out ahead of the election in November. Senators Jon Tester and Sherrod Brown have said that Biden has to convince them of his capabilities to win the election and finish a second term in office.
