UTI AMC's Q1 net profit soars 154% to Rs 234 crore

Management Company's profit after tax rose 154% to ₹234 crore in the June quarter, as against ₹92 crore in the same period a year ago. However, the core profit after tax for the quarter was ₹84 crore, down 25%.Revenue from operations rose 60% to ₹468 crore during the quarter from ₹293 crore last year.
UTI's market share in quarterly average assets under management dipped marginally to 5.76% in the June quarter compared to 5.94% in the same quarter in the previous year. Shares of UTI AMC fell by 0.37%.
