player base, Warframe, the action-packed game by Digital Extremes, has embraced cross-play functionality as of December 2022.
Previously contained within platform-specific boundaries, Warframe enthusiasts can now play together across PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. This eagerly awaited move has been received positively by the community.
Linking accounts across platforms is now possible via Digital Extremes’ website. On the login page, users can effortlessly link their accounts, along with Twitch Prime, to gain access to their friend lists irrespective of the platform.
Turning cross-play on or off is straightforward. In the game's Options menu, players can conveniently toggle the feature to match their preferences. This flexibility ensures a seamless multiplayer experience.

Digital Extremes has elucidated this on their support page, addressing potential confusion due to similar player names across different platforms.
The excitement doesn't stop at cross-play, though. The community has also been buzzing about the forthcoming cross-save and cross-progression feature. Announced during Tennocon 2023, this addition is set to debut sometime in 2023. Players can look forward to resuming their progress seamlessly across any platform, a move greatly
