Extreme heat waves are being experienced in several places, such as the Mediterranean, Russia, and Canada. Because of climate change, which is brought on by greenhouse gas emissions from the burning of fossil fuels, global temperatures are rising. As to the BBC reports, Prof. Rebecca Emerton, a climate scientist affiliated with the Copernicus Climate Change Service, stated that persistently increasing patterns suggest that temperatures will descend further, resulting in unprecedented conditions.
Impact of El Nino and health risks
