Rohit Sharma and the Indian men's cricket team landed in Delhi on Thursday morning (July 4) after winning the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies. The team arrived at the IGI Airport in Delhi early, where a huge crowd of fans gathered to welcome them. After a 17-year wait, India secured their second T20 World Cup trophy. Rohit Sharma proudly showed off the trophy as fans cheered loudly.

The team will stay at the ITC Maurya in Delhi for a while before heading to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his office, where a small function is organised. After meeting PM Modi, the players will travel to Mumbai for an open bus parade at Marine Drive.
