G20 presidency has been the most ambitious with 112 outcomes and presidency documents, says country's G20 sherpa Amitabh Kant. In an interview with Deepshikha Sikarwar he said language on Ukraine war is stronger than in the Bali Declaration. Edited excerpts:
Has India delivered on its ambitious agenda and raised the bar for others?
With over 112 outcomes and presidency documents, our G20 presidency has been one of the most ambitious in history.
These are 2-5 times more than previous presidencies. India has more than delivered on the agenda. We have delivered on issues of global importance such as sustainable development goals, climate action, growth, technological transformation and women-led development.
With 83 paragraphs, all agreed to by 100% consensus, we have matched ambition with action during our presidency.

How did you achieve consensus?
Our presidency has been ambitious, decisive and action-oriented right from the beginning. The G20 India team has put in significant effort to steer conversations with all members. We received exceptional support from the developing nations and emerging markets.
I must also thank PM Modi for his clarity of vision which became a driving force for our presidency towards consensus.

What are the big gains for India?
India has been able to push its domestic initiatives and successes through our cross-cutting G20 priorities and outcomes. This has enabled us to showcase the India narrative with full consensus with all the G20 countries, invitee countries and IOs. These include:
