pub chain has several listed for sale. The well-known pub chain J D Wetherspoon is still looking for buyers for a number of its UK locations, including notable ones in Felixstowe, Swindon, and Cardiff. More venues have been added to the sales list since the initial announcement in 2023. If buyers are found for the chosen properties across Scotland, England, and Wales, the current portfolio of 790 pubs could be reduced by 10. Local customers will be surprised to learn that the Thomas Drummond in Fleetwood, which was initially put up for sale in February, has since been taken down from the market.
Claire Buxton, the manager of the establishment, expressed her happiness at the decision, stating that it would be a delight for both patrons and staff. She added that they look forward to serving the Fleetwood community for many more years to come.
