Rajat Dalal is one of the participants in ‘Bigg Boss 18’. In his introduction video, Dalal addressed some of his controversies which included his much-publicised spat with fellow influencer Carry Minati. He stated that while many people have an image of him due to his controversies, nobody ever bothered to know the reason behind them.

Talking to the host, superstar Salman Khan, Dalal said that he never started feuds, only reacted when he had no other choice. “The audience likes to see fights, my positive side was never seen, only the negative side got highlighted. The ‘Dabangg’ star asked him not to be impulsive. He added that he had experienced his fair share of controversies and had learned not to react emotionally. Subsequently, Salman questioned Rajat regarding a separate incident where he had assaulted a so-called spiritual leader. Rajat explained his reasoning, stating, «I won’t tolerate anyone mocking my faith
