Cannes Film Festival? Fashion influencer Nancy Tyagi turned heads in a beautiful frilly pink gown that made her look like a princess straight from a Disney animated movie! However, this is not the sole reason why her Cannes look has gone viral.
The young fashion designer has become the first artiste attending the prestigious film festival to create her own red carpet look and attire from scratch!
The delicate, pink dress, which reportedly is created from more than 1,000 metres of fabric, was a labour of love and took Tyagi over a month to create! Taking to Instagram, Tyagi wrote, “Stepping onto the red carpet at the 77th Cannes Film Festival as a debutant feels surreal. I poured my heart and soul into creating this pink gown, which took 30 days, 1000 meters of fabric, and weighs over 20kg. The journey has been intense, but every moment was worth it. I'm overwhelmed with joy and gratitude for the love and support from all of you. This is a dream come true, and I hope my creation dazzles you as much as your support has inspired me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!”
The post went viral on the image and video sharing website, gaining over 500K likes.
Tyagi is a Delhi-based designer and fashion influencer. She has over 891K followers on Instagram. Although initially she travelled to Delhi for preparing for UPSC, she discovered her passion for fashion.
