Today, as with AI, many companies and even industries are facing such moments of transformation faster than ever. So there is a need for more leaders who can truly drive transformations.

So, what sets transformation leaders apart? An example Tiwari gives is that of Jorgen Vig Knudstorp. While many may not recognise the name, the brand he turned around is known to all — LEGO.
When Knudstorp became the first person who is not part of the founder’s family to lead The Lego Group in 2004, the organisation was losing close to a million dollars a day. He displayed all the qualities of a transformational leader and went about revamping the organisation to make it not only profitable, but also one of the most well-known names in the world.
