Digital Release
The film Wicked will be available for purchase or rental on major digital platforms from December 31, 2024. These platforms include Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV and Comcast Xfinity.
Bonus Features
The digital release offers three hours of bonus content. This includes a singalong version and behind-the-scenes insights. Deleted and extended scenes explore key moments in the storyline, like Glinda's interactions at Shiz University, Elphaba’s forest adventure with Fiyero and a train ride to Emerald City.
Wicked achieved the highest opening for a Broadway adaptation. It grossed $392 million domestically. The film received four Golden Globe nominations, including Best Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy.
