According to a USA Today report, Google throttled competition and tried to abuse its dominance in the searching segment of the Internet, which has directly and indirectly harmed consumers and curbed their right and opportunity to explore other products of the similar category due to Google's forces.
The federal judge has stated that Google has acted like a complete monopolist when it came to the search market and with this huge defeat in this antitrust case, a revolution could come in around how we use search engines on the internet as well as on our smartphones.

These antitrust charges came into the forefront during the last leg of the Trump administration and the probe and investigation around this went on throughout the Biden administration, with this latest ruling having a massive potential to create a rift and change in the search market.
