The following day, another account contacted her, introducing itself as Brad Pitt. The message read, “Hello Anne, my mother has told me wonderful things about you. I’d love to get to know you better.” Anne initially suspected it might be a scam. However, the fraudster’s persistence and charm gradually dismantled her doubts.
Anne described her disbelief and confusion as the situation unfolded. “At first, I thought it was fake, but I couldn’t understand what was happening,” she said. The scammer, posing as the Oscar-winning actor, engaged her in daily conversations. They exchanged heartfelt messages, poems, and even AI-generated images designed to look like Brad Pitt.
“He knew exactly how to speak to women; it was always so well executed," Anne recounted. Over time, the con artist’s calculated charm convinced her of his authenticity.
