The cheapest one-way ticket from Delhi to Patna is 12,000 rupees, and from Delhi to Bangalore, it’s 16,000 rupees,» Chadha said. He added, «And forget that, just the day before yesterday, I travelled from my region Punjab to Delhi. I took a flight from Mohali Airport to Chandigarh Airport and reached Delhi. The ticket for that flight was 14,500 rupees.»

Air India is setting up an aircraft maintenance training institute in Bengaluru that will offer an integrated 2+2 years aircraft maintenance engineering (AME) programme certified by aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The purpose-built basic maintenance training organisation (BMTO), spread over 86,000 square feet at Bengaluru Airport City, is expected to be operational by mid-2026, Air India said in a release. The country’s leading global airline group has signed an agreement with Bengaluru Airport City Ltd (BACL), a subsidiary of Bangalore International Airport Ltd (BIAL), to develop a build-to-suit facility for the AME programme that will feature modern classrooms, well-equipped laboratories for practical training and a team of qualified trainers.

The new facility, which will offer a comprehensive 2+2-year Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) program, is expected to be operational by mid-2026, the airline announced on Friday. Air India has partnered with Bengaluru Airport City Limited (BACL), a subsidiary of Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL), to develop a purpose-built campus covering 86,000 square feet. This campus will feature modern classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, and qualified trainers.
