MUMBAI : Homegrown private equity firm ChrysCapital is set to invest up to $100 million in New Delhi-based Centre for Sight for a “significant" minority stake in the eyecare chain. As part of the transaction, ChrysCapital will purchase the entire stake held by Mahindra Holdings Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, in Center for Sight. Mahindra Holdings had invested in the eyecare chain in 2019.

New Delhi: A ruckus erupted in the MCD House here on Tuesday over the allegations of Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal that she was assaulted by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's PA, Bibhav on his instructions. New Delhi: Consumer electronics and appliances maker Veira on Monday said it will invest Rs 450 crore to set up a new manufacturing unit at Greater Noida to enhance capacity for air coolers and washing machines. This investment will result in increasing existing production capacity from 1 lakh to 5 lakh units of washing machines and air coolers annually, Veira said in a statement.

NEW DELHI : Hyderabad-based Greenko ZeroC has secured a deal to supply renewable ammonia to Norway’s Yara Clean Ammonia, the world’s largest trader and distributor of ammonia, for an undisclosed sum. Yara will use green ammonia from Greenko to produce low-emission fertilizers as well as towards low-carbon emissions in industries such as shipping and power.

Industrial production expanded 5.8% during FY 2023-24, higher than the 5.2% expansion reported for the year prior, show data released on Friday. But the March numbers fell short of expectations.
